Who he is
While most who have met Tyson Baker will recall his superb style, hilarious commentary or infectious energy he brings to the room, all will recognize his love for music. Tyson has been making music since he was nine years old, starting in a volunteer Salvation Army band to making waves in the music scene at his local college town, Greensboro, NC.
Tyson explores many corners of music from his locally known rock band, Headcase, a groovy jazz group, Them Changes, bassists in the Ian Rood Trio, Cecilia Richardson Trio and so much more. Additionally, Mr. Baker enjoys writing songs, producing and mixing. Tyson finds inspiration for song writing in Jazz, R&B, Gospel, and Blues with Stevie Wonder, Thundercat, and Eryka Badu being his top influencers.Add text
